Unknown for some people, Fukuoka is home to many Churches and hosts a lot of pilgrimages. So If you are looking for something new this Holy Week going to Fukuoka, Japan would be a good choice. Both for leisure and religious purposes.They did say that Fukuoka has cheap shopping and good seafood. If you are not that into shopping there are also a lot of sights to be seen in this small city of Japan.
- Taiwan
Only 2 hour flight from Manila, Taiwan is a quick place to escape to with cool weather. Having to explore a different culture and at the same time getting to eat delicious food. This is a must visit for a lot of people during or not during holy week.
I should also mention that Taiwan also has a lot of churches that would interest your religious aspect.
- Holy Land (Jordan – Israel)
What better way to spend the Holy Week other than spending it in the Holy Land. Take a tour around Jordan and Israel to experience God’s Trial’s and Tribulations. Visit the popular biblical sites like the Jordan River, Mt. Nebo and Many More.A lot of people who have experienced this types of tours are satisfied and happy with the out come of their visit in the Holy Land especially during Holy Week
- Europe
There are many options to go to in Europe and Different places to Explore. You could visit the Lourdes in France, Fatima Sanctuary in Portugal, Duomo and the Vatican City in Rome and Among Others while experiencing a totally different culture at the same time.
- Philippines
Not going far from where you are. The Philippines is home to many churches all over it’s Islands/ Provinces. Every Province may have some differences in terms of culture and food. But nevertheless every province is special with great sights hiding within them.
