A place that should be in your bucket list.
This place is full of amazement. It was straight out of the movie avatar. But other than that it’s a whole lot of things to offer for nature and heights. It’s just a place you wouldn’t imagine seeing. The towering mountains that just raised up
Day 1
Arrive at Zhangjiajie via China Southern and might I say that they have a good leg room than other aircrafts.
Day 2
Explore Tianmen Mountain which is also called the Heavenly Gate because of the 999 steps leading up to the cave. Going up to this place you will have to seat through a 30 minute cable car that has a scenic view. And it’s just beautiful. 
You can also walk beside a cliff and see a sea of clouds in a good day. Other than that you will also get the chance to cross a glass bridge by the cliff and it was a pretty cool trip.
Afterwards they took us to a foot massage place which was a good way to end the day.
Day 3
This is the day we’ve been waiting for. It’s our day to see the Avatar Mountains, Honestly after Tianmen Mountain I didn’t really think anything can surprise me but then the Avatar or the hallelujah mountain was just wow. We wnt up the Mountain with by elevator with a big glass view of the mountains. Make sure you go in first to get a good look while you go up.
The whole place is actually a big national park that would take a while to walk around actually Tianmen mountain also takes a while to walk around because it’s also a National Park. The Mountains will never fail to surprise you they also have waterfalls and a stream which you can dip your feet in and feel the cold water.
Also going down from the mountains you will be taking a cable car that will go through the mountains and it’s just pleasant and beautiful
Day 4
We walked the highest and longest glass bridge in the world which was perfectly safe and the views are beautiful. It’s a bridge that connects 2 mountain cliffs afterwards we Cruised through the Baofeng lake which was beautiful and very peaceful. It was a nice change of pace from our very high up the mountains day that we have experienced. Being there in the lake and seeing the wonderful place is just really nice.
Afterwards We also went and saw a musical that was so beautiful and set just below the Tianmen mountain and trust me not one of us was sleeping.
it’s really beautiful plus the set is just amazing.
Day 5
We have to say good bye to this beautiful place and it was hard. I honestly want to explore more.
Was it Worth it?
It was! It’s a lifetime experience that you would never forget. Don’t worry there is no smog but just fresh air. truly a wonderful experience even for those who are afraid of heights. We got a lot of those in our trip but they had a lot of fun.
Additional Review:
The Food was also very good and the bus is really nice it’s so comfy i don’t mind staying a night in it. The city is pleasant you will not see alot of towering buildings it’s like the Vigan where it’s all establishment but at the same time old school. The structures are just all asian inspired and i think they will be preserving that look.
