In line with our government’s rules on safety measures in stemming the spread of COVID 19 to the traveling Public, The Air Carriers Association on the Philippines (ACAP) through its Executive Director and Vice Chairman, Mr. Roberto Lim announces the following last May 26, 2020.
- Minimize contact between passenger and airline staff, with increase utilization of online and digital process for check in and boarding.
- Intensified disinfection of all aircrafts and facilities. The use of aircraft equipment which “continuously infuses fresh air across the cabin”, or air filters that efficiently traps viruses, bacteria, and other contaminants.
- Only passengers with confirm flights will be allowed to enter the airport. Thermal Scanning and mandatory wearing of face mask for everyone entering the terminal building will also be observed.
The member carriers of ACAP are Philippine Airlines, PAL Express, Cebu Pacific, Ceb Cargo and Air Asia Philippines.
