Resumption of French Visa

The French Embassy in the Philippines resumed the issuance of certain types of visa since Monday June 22, 2020.

The following categories will initially be given priority treatment:

- Studies / Contest (short and long stay)
- Professional reason (short and long stay)
- Family reason for establishment in France

Visa applications must, as before, be submitted to the France-Visas site .

The reception of visa applicants by our service provider VFS Global (30th Floor, The World Center, 330 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City, Metro Manila) will be organized according to the applicable health regulations (wearing a mask, taking a temperature etc.).

Due to the resumption of part-time activities and current health protocols, the deadlines for issuing visas have been extended.

The possible issuance of a visa does not guarantee the possibility of entering the territory, which remains determined by the measures applicable at the borders on the date of travel. Before applying for a visa, it is recommended to check if you are authorized to enter France.

It is up to each traveler to ensure that on the date chosen for departure:

- Philippine law allows him to travel outside the Philippines (see in particular https://www.dfa.gov.ph/covid-19-advisories  ; http://immigration.gov.ph/ );
- French regulations authorize access to French territory for Filipino travelers and other foreign nationalities from the Philippines, and according to what possible specific health conditions (see in particular https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/le- ministry-and-its-network / ministry-news / information-coronavirus-covid-19 / coronavirus-answers-to-your-questions / ).

The consular services of the French Embassy in the Philippines decline all responsibility in the event that the holder of a visa that they have issued is, on the date of travel:

- prevented from leaving Philippine territory due to measures decided by the Philippine authorities;
- prohibited from entering French territory under the rules set by the French authorities.
